Weekend E.A.T. – Don’t Kill My Vibe

Happy February y’all! One month into 2015 and I gotta say that my heart’s been full of happiness. Although that could also be because of the dancing sharks at yesterday’s Super Bowl halftime show – did anybody else completely love this?!

Along with the usual traversing – coffeeshop excursions (the usual Blue Bottle and a new spot to me – Illy Espressamente), neon lit happy hours, and Bi-Rite, I tried some new things as well. Following up on my goal to learn how to dance better, I took my first hip hop class and loved it so much I’ll be there for another month! Catch me at the club busting a move to Kendrick.

Also, I have to give a HUGE shout-out to my other half Aimee for completing her first half marathon! Check out her blog for more on the badass that she is.

Since it’s still California winter, a beach visit had to happen, and I got lucky enough to go twice to the best of SF’s shores at Baker and Ocean Beach. I know it’s super cheesy to get sentimental when watching beachside sunsets, but sometimes that mango-colored tint of the skies interspersed with fantastic company and good food send off way too many good vibes to kill.

Look inside of my soul and you can find gold and maybe get rich.
