Weekend E.A.T. – Rainy Days

2014-02-07 17.34.38 copy

IT’S RAINING.

But all you cool kids in San Francisco already knew that. Boots, hats, umbrellas, errythang, we’re giving it all we got cus man, did we need some rain.

As much as I love rain, it does make going-out-related shenanigans a big more challenging. But with the craziness that was last week, it’s been great to recharge with best friends and good food. And hey, there’s a long weekend coming up!

Also, I want to announce the winner of the fantastic cupcake roses from Savage Flour: Sally Pinata! I’ll be reaching out via email with more details.

Wet and wild.

Savage Flour

Giant bacon, cheddar, and pecan scones from Savage Flour’s pop-up at Firehouse 8

Chow

Brunch at Chow – baked goat cheese always does the trick on a rainy day

The Residence

Sazerac sippin’ at 3pm. Just because.

Baking

Baking up a storm while it poured outside

Homemade

Dark chocolate and almond butter cups! So much better than Reese’s. Recipe soon, perhaps?

Dinner with my favorite, Aimee

Pretzel

MOAR melted cheese! Is anyone noticing a trend here?

Salmon Tartare

Keeping it classy with a salmon tartare

that salmon tartare looks sooo good. And I will most definitely be looking out for savory scones with bacon and cheddar.

I forgot how good savory scones are because I always eat sweet ones. But the pecans and cheese make these amazing!

I want all of those things too! I’ve been eating so much cheese lately, it’s weird. But also good.
