Sometimes, it’s the little things that count. Other times, it’s the big-ass family dinners, cups of coffee, and brunch entrees. This was one of the latter times.
After a week of shenanigans vis à vis tequila karaoke and hipster scavenger hunts (all in the name of work bonding), it was time to get my life back together, which meant copious amounts of caffeine from anywhere and everywhere.
Said coffee allowed me to finish the book I’ve been reading, too, a book that teaches me to value all the good things I have and inspires me to go forward, even though it can be hard as hell. But even if sometimes my tires go flat – which actually did happen this weekend – I have so many fantastic people like my family to feed me Indian food and my friends to give me a food coma after brunch. And of course, hella good coffee.
