#2scoopz of butterscotch and coffee ice creams from Ice Cream Bar
Four hours, two brunches, and a few very necessary scoopz of ice cream later, I have moved into my new apartment! You’re looking at the latest resident of lower Haight Street; let the fun (aka unpacking) begin.
In true cook fashion, my room is still a mélange of boxes and piles of clothing, but my kitchen is unpacked and ready to rock – desserts ain’t gonna make themselves. I haven’t tested the new oven yet, but be assured that some sugar-type thing will make its way out of there soon enough.
How I managed to sneak in a trip to my favorite place in the world (besides this place), discover a new brunch resto, and eat ice cream EVERYDAY is beyond me. But as Drake says, it’s 0 to 100 real quick.
Don’t Haight.
Breakfast brainstorms with the talented Savannah Roberts for my upcoming pop-up! Oh and pistachio croissant from Sightglass is a must.
Brunch at my favorite city – Berkeley! Carbs, anyone?
I first discovered ube ice cream in Berkeley years ago – good to know that it’s still here and still delicious!
Britishing it up at Lovejoy Tea Room on a Saturday morning. My mom and I used to have bonding days out at tea houses all the time – I’m so happy places like this still exist.
Great photos! The ice cream looks delicious, it’s making me hungry now! 🙂
Ice cream always makes me hungry, too!
