IT’S. SO. COLD.
Why. It’s so cold that my hands turned blue when I ran outside (this also means that I am asking for a pair of these warm thangs for the holidays, please and thank you).
The saving grace has been getting into the December cheer with boozy night outs, holiday house parties, and hefty dose of oven action, recipes of which are coming your way this week!

How are you staying warm?

Being served frozen salmon sushi and having the check shoved at us doesn’t make for holiday cheer at all. Needless to be say, we will not be back at Kyoto Sushi.

Classy holiday party with mulled wine, cheese, and the most amazing of friends. Look at that crostini!

California meets India with a home-cooked dinner of farmer’s market kale, paneer, and Greek yogurt.

I want that kale paneer and greek yogurt! Hope you’re staying warm. I’ve bundled up in about a million layers today.
I’ve been wearing two pairs of socks – is this real life?!
I’m sorry to read you had a bad experience in that Japanese restaurant. I can totally see why you enjoyed the farmer market food much more. Kale, paneer, and Greek yogurt… very yummy!
Thanks! Paneer is such a comfort food for me, so it made up for the terrible sushi, yucks.
Ahaha that face perfectly describes what I would feel if I bit into frozen sushi. Blarg. Dude so excited to cook togetherrr!!
So. Much. Excitement. This is going to be an epic dinner!!
I cannot take how cold it has been around here!! BRRR!
I feel like I just have to stand around the kitchen with the oven on and open in order to stay warm – at least that means more desserts to eat!
The cold is for sure NOT making me happy!!
Not at all. This is insane weather! Hope you are staying warm!
