Weekend E.A.T. – Crawls

2014-05-10 11.30.28 copy

Monday already! I hope everyone had a fantastic Mother’s Day and made it loud and clear that moms are kind of the best people ever.

For my own mom, we brunched and did a neighborhood crawl, climbing up hidden staircases, venturing down to Bi-Rite (because no sunny Sunday is complete without a couple scoops), and lying in the park. Combine that with my brunch crawl that happened on Saturday and it’s quite a lot of local meandering. A friend commented that all I do is brunch, and I can’t even deny it.

It’s not always easy to pack everything into a weekend, but we make time for important things and each other. Instead of fretting about what will happen, when will it happen, and other everlasting questions, I like to charge ahead and spend time doing what I love – things tend to work out, so full speed ahead.

A warrior, not a worrier.

I dont’ know why we brunch so much (and so hard) here in SF, but hey, I can’t complain. I need you to be a LITTLE closer to me so we can actually do more cooking and eating. I can’t wait to hear about your Europe adventures!
