I’m excited to kick off summer and my birthday month with a new sweet thang in the Shikha la Mode Dessert Shop – Introducing Blackberry Mascarpone Mini Cakes!
Just in time for summer AND SUMMER ONLY – get a batch my fresh blackberry-mascarpone cakes. These mini treats are dense and have a mix of sweet and tart flavors from organic blackberries at the farmer’s market. They come in four per order and are sturdy, holding up well to shipping and of course, FREE pickup/delivery in San Francisco.
Since I’ve been eating a ton of these (for “research” of course), I recommending eating these mini cakes at room temperature or warmed up. For breakfast, spread them with butter; for dessert, scoop some vanilla bean ice cream on top. When stored in an airtight container, these tasty thangs last for up to a week.
