I know anyone who’s from the East Coast is lol-ing real hard at me, but I don’t care and I’m still gonna say it—November was nippy AF in San Francisco. Even before Thanksgiving, I spent most of this month getting in all the comfort food possible to keep me warm. My waistline is looking rough, but luckily it’s extra large sweater weather; if you see a moving fuzzy thing walking down Haight Street in a pair of oxfords, it’s me.
Here are my favorite spots from November that have helped keep me cozy:
Duboce Park Café { A neighborbood favorite for good bagels and a killer bacon and eggs sando }
Chairman Bao { The pork belly steamed bun is life }
Piccino { The yellow building lights up Dogpatch, and their octopus dish is delicious }
Triple Voodoo Brewery { A short walk from Piccino and an easy way to spend an afternoon having beer flights }
Bernal Star { A cute local joint perfect for a lazy brunch }
Mina Test Kitchen { Not that you have to, but dressing up and coming to this rotating pop up is a fun way to spend a weekday evening. Of course wine is also necessary }
Blue Bottle { I’m in a relationship with any of their toasts }
Hawker Fare { I’d come here for the spicy green beans alone and durian sticky rice }
Saint Frank Coffee { Macadamia nut latte. Enough said }
Palm House { The Brussels sprouts are some of the best I’ve had in the city }
